Deep in Africa is the pain and suffering of all kinds. Children’s bellies swollen with worms. You Can’t help tearing when you get to these places. Young girls having babies even barely the age of fifteen. You Can see the bones of these people right through their skins. So dehydrated and malnourished. You may walk miles and not be able to find a drop of water. Help is largely needed for our fellow human race….. We need to extend help to the people as we are responsible for each other. With the help of our partners in the field, Hope For Africa has identified the following core programmatic areas of focus.
Community Outreach strives to create a healthy community able to live and enjoy an active dignified life, and to access and utilize both internal and external resources to the full, and willing to contribute fully to the development of families, communities, and the nation while upholding respect for others.
The empowering of women and girls puts women and girls in the center because today they are in most desperate and vulnerable condition and lack very basic necessities. Some of the causes include illiteracy, lack of skills and knowledge, lack of control over economic resources and earnings, and lack of access to credit and financial services. Our maximum effort is to bring all of them in the mainstream.
Education is very important for every child whether boy or girl. It is sad that some communities still discriminate against the education of the girl child. Poverty, discrimination, and exploitation keep millions of girls out of school. What’s more, half of all girls in developing countries don’t even finish primary school.
The project provides street children and orphans with the emotional, physical, spiritual, educational and economic needs to facilitate their transition off the streets and back into the community.
You can help us to actively support people with disability, their families and careers, in all their diversity, to live the life they choose. Disability will affect the lives of everyone during their life, it is time society changed to acknowledge this. Right now, Hope 4 Africa is working to fight discrimination and ensure every disabled person gets a fighting chance at living their best life.
Hope For Africa supports the elderly at several Old Age Homes and we also work with old persons in both rural and urban areas. Distribution of clothing, bedding, toiletries and even offering good health towards them.
Millions of people are already HIV positive and many of them have developed full-blown AIDS. Hope for Africa helps HIV victims by providing them with medication and basic needs which will help them in their lives
